Royal Retreat Resort

We spent a week here and loved it. The staff were fabulous, the location was perfect, and our accommodation was spacious and clean. The pool was great, and the shower had plenty of hot water with both rainfall and adjustable settings. The menu had lots of choice, and drinks were very reasonably priced. There was a barbecue each night, and our laundry was done the same day. They picked us up from the pier in a beach tractor, which was so much fun. I can’t wait to come back.

We only came to eat, not to stay. My boyfriend ordered the BBQ barracuda and said it was fresh, moist, and tasty. It came with a beer or soft drink, garlic bread, a baked potato, corn, and salad. The beachfront location was good, the place seemed clean, and service was decent. They also accept card payments.

We had a memorable two-night stay, with a spotless room and food we really enjoyed. There was a big menu to choose from, and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Dan, the GM, was especially helpful, sharing lots of information and advice for the rest of our travels. Thanks to everyone. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Cambodia.

We weren’t guests at the hotel, but bought a day pass and had a lovely time. The $10 pass amount is credited back for food, which is great. The food was very good too. We had French toast one day, then went back the next night for bangers and mash that tasted like home. The pool was relaxing, and it was nice to have a sunbed with an umbrella.
