The bungalows are basic, but in a nice way, and the location is pretty good. It’s very secluded, though, since the only way to reach other parts of the island is by expensive boat. The food was alright but quite expensive, with a 15% guest discount. Check your bill at checkout, because they didn’t apply the discount to ours.

A really nice stay for a low price. It was quiet, clean, and almost on the beach. The staff were polite and helpful, and the restaurant food was very good. Breakfast was included and perfect. Thanks to the whole team.

My wife and I had a great time here. The room was affordable, and the location suits anyone wanting a break from city life for a while. The staff on the private beach were friendly and hardworking, and ready to help.

When I arrived, I found the room I’d ordered through Booking.com extremely dirty and uncleaned, with a very strong mold smell. I told the manager I was going for a walk and wasn’t sure I could check in. Before I had checked in, I tried to cancel, but he extended my booking and didn’t refund the hotel payment. I believe they are scammers. The hotel was almost empty, with no customers, and didn’t seem popular.

The sea-view bungalows at Sandy Resort were spacious and clean, and we enjoyed our stay. Ants kept appearing, even in the bed, and the mosquitoes left us covered in bites after sleeping. Keep in mind this is on the other side of the island, with only three restaurants nearby and limited, expensive options. A taxi boat to and from Sacaren Bay costs $15. On weekends, locals come to visit and party until around 4am, and the bungalows don’t block much noise. We still enjoyed our first few days, and the staff were really lovely and accommodating.
