SoonNoeng Resort

We ended up extending our stay because we loved the island, and were lucky to be invited to the resort’s New Year’s party. What a night! We’ll be back, no doubt. My partner and I spent five nights at SoonNoeng Resort, and everything exceeded what we expected. It’s right by the pier, which made travel convenient, and the beach was stunning and nearly empty. We still miss the evening BBQs, the food was incredible. The staff were the highlight. We wish we could name everyone, because they did so much to make us comfortable and catered for my partner’s Coeliac’s disease with gluten-free food. A big thank you to Vuthy for making the whole trip amazing, and to the owner’s family for inviting us for drinks. We’re very grateful.

The location is right off the pier in a quieter spot, but the other bars and hostels are still an easy walk away. Mr Thav and the team were so welcoming and helpful, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our room was spacious and clean, with a big comfy bed and great aircon. They brought water and fresh towels every day. We’ll definitely return when we have time, couldn’t recommend the place more.

Arriving was easy since the hotel is at the end of the pier, just seconds away on foot. The staff were lovely and kind, always willing to do more and make you smile. We were really impressed during our stay.

We’ve already booked another stay, which probably says it all. It’s right at the end of the pier, so very convenient, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant serves great food at decent prices, with a good choice of made-to-order breakfasts. Our room had plenty of space, great aircon and a fan, plus a really comfortable big bed. Highly recommend.
