Blue Zone Hostel

Dara and his family made sure we were comfortable and were wonderful hosts. Our private room was spacious and comfy, and the shower was one of the best I've had in two months of travel, with both hot and cold water. The aircon was a big plus, and it got ice cold, which I doubt many places on the island offer. It's between Longset beach and Koh Touch, about five minutes on foot from the beach and Nestival. Even so, we weren't bothered by noise. We liked it so much that we came back a few days later for another stay.

Dara was a lovely host, always friendly and ready to help. Our private room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We were glad to have air conditioning in the hot weather, since many other hostels and budget hotels seemed to have fans instead. If you're going to Nestival, this is a handy place to stay. We could pop back to our room to freshen up during the day, then walk down again for the evening. Long Set's main bars and restaurants are a pleasant walk along the beach, and Koah Touch is just a short walk the other way.

A calm, cozy place to stay, though it's not the most social or activity-filled hostel. The staff are very friendly, food prices are reasonable, and drinks are self-serve. There's a night shop nearby and nest is right next door. The dorms have air conditioning and capsule beds that offer a lot of privacy.

I forgot to write this earlier. Later, when I was travelling and got hungry with no food around, I remembered how the hostel owner once boiled a sweet potato for me after a party when nothing else was available. They're really kind people. It's a clean, quiet place to relax away from the beach party, and the AC is always on. 10/10, recommended.
