Centrana Hotel

The room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were friendly. It was cleaned every day, and there was hot water and plenty of English TV movie channels. The location was good too. The Wi-Fi in my room wasn’t very reliable, and my white clothes came back from the wash stained.

We arrived at the centrana after leaving the Phnom Penh hotel we’d booked because it had excessive mold. They welcomed us and offered a fair $32/night for a large private queen room with a window. We stayed five nights and were very pleased with the clean room and kind staff. The Wi-Fi was strong, and we had a fridge and kettle. Staff also helped print some documents and arranged an airport ride. The one downside was the very thin room door. You could hear everything in the hallway. One night, a large family was screaming out there for five hours. Earplugs can help with that! The rest of our stay, we were the only ones on the whole floor. Definitely recommend.

I lost my orange Bose Soundlink speaker here. I called the next day, but the hotel said no and seemed reluctant to help. Maybe it was just my bad luck. They were polite while I was staying there, to be fair, but be very careful. I’ll book other hotels this time in PP.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, and beautiful, and it’s a great hotel. Breakfast was the one thing I didn’t like. They usually serve food that’s Chinese-style, including the tea, so I had to ask several times for bread, jam, or English tea.
