The food and drinks tasted awful, and we ended up with food poisoning. I don't like writing bad reviews, so here's what was good: the restaurant looked clean and the portions were reasonably large. The naan was fine. But the lemonade was undrinkable, like salt had been mixed up with sugar, and my friend's mango lassi was the worst they'd ever had. We ordered butter chicken and chicken korma with garlic rice, and everything else was unbelievably salty. It tasted like salt curry. I've eaten at many Indian restaurants and can't compare it to anything else. I don't know if it was supposed to be that salty or if a lot of salt was added by mistake. Even aside from the salt, the flavor was bland.

I can't say for certain this restaurant caused it, but 20 hours later I was in bed with pretty serious food poisoning, and there were definitely signs. From outside it looked nice, and though it was expensive, my friend and I were hungry so we ate there. The butter chicken and chicken korma with garlic rice and plain naan looked very good, and the portions were generous, but the food immediately tasted off. The lemon drink and mango lassi were both bad too.

I've been to this little restaurant twice, both times after 1:30am after a night out in the Riverside area. It stays open late, service is quick and professional, and the portions are big. Last night I had fresh, flavorful Chilli Chicken with a good amount of spice, plus a massive portion of thick-cut French Fries that were delicious. The two vegetable samosas were well cooked, rich, and had a nice texture from the variety of vegetables, not just potato. It's also a guesthouse, and I like how quiet it is late at night. The gentlemen working there are helpful, then leave you in peace once you've been served, which makes for a relaxing meal. Dhaka is a nice hidden gem with a solid menu and a clearly capable chef. My meal was $9.75, including a bottle of water, so it was very affordable. Thanks to everyone at Dhaka, and I look forward to coming back soon.

The rooms were extremely dirty. The sheets and blankets were filthy, and they didn't want to change them. The washroom smelled and was broken, and there were insects everywhere. When we called room service, they couldn't come and said no one was there. It felt scary. The walls looked like someone had spat on them. Don't choose this place.

The food was okay, but it was missing the Bangladeshi taste. I wouldn't recommend the accommodation unless you're on a tight budget.
