The windowless room turned out to be a blessing with all the noisy pubs nearby. There was a safe and small fridge in the room, and breakfast was decent, with an omelet, toast, juice, and tea or coffee. There are lots of places to eat and convenience stores nearby. It’s a no-frills budget hotel, cheap but clean, with friendly staff.

I was very happy overall, and used the laundry service too. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and there was a fridge, a safe, and plenty of good TV channels. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly.

I’ve stayed here twice, and it feels like home. The staff make me feel like family, and they’re lovely. It’s a family-run hotel in a super location, with very nice breakfast and German-quality beds. Excellent value for money, this is the place to stay. Malcolm Swann
