The rooftop terrace had an amazing view over the city, and breakfast came with lots of choice. Our room was modern and exceptionally clean, and the staff were the friendliest we’ve met at a hotel. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back when we return to Phnom Penh. Thanks so much!

Aside from one issue, this is a great hotel and everything else was good. Some butter left on the table during my stay was expired. Staff removed it promptly, but the same thing happened on two other days. I hope the hotel improves its checks on products used and served by the kitchen.

The night view is stunning, and my recent stay with my family was amazing. We tried a new type of room, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I’ve stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. The staff were warmly hospitable as always, and I especially appreciate Mr. Burren, Front Office Supervisor, for making sure the stay was comfortable and convenient.

We had to fly from Siem Reap via Techno airport and needed a stopover, so we booked one night at the Caravan. Very glad we did. It’s on Samdech Mongkol Iem St. (St. 228) in Sangkat Chaktomuk, Daun Penh district, near the Royal Palace, National Museum, and riverside. After arriving tired, we went straight to the Blossom restaurant and just caught happy hour. The food was outstanding, with Western, Asian, Cambodian, and international choices, and the views were exceptional. There was live music from an expat Canadian too. Our room was one of the more than 90 stylish, air-conditioned rooms, with free Wi-Fi, a mini-bar, work desk, and private bathroom. The staff were very accommodating, and the doormen and everyone else were great. The only small snag was that they wanted to check the room before we fully departed. Our driver was already waiting and we were loaded, anxious about traffic and getting to the airport, so we left without accompanying them for the check. As a couple in our 60s, we knew we’d behaved in the room and hadn’t taken any monogrammed towels or anything. I don’t blame them for wanting to check, though.

The hotel restaurant food looked well presented, but it was quite bland. I preferred finding authentic Khmer food at nearby restaurants, where it was really spicy and delicious. Breakfast and coffee at the hotel were very nice, though. It was my first time in Phnom Penh, and I spent three nights here. The staff were cheerful and the hospitality excellent. The rooms were bright and clean, the beds and pillows very comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were great. I appreciated the sealed bottled water in the rooms as an effort to cut down on plastic. The only bother was a noisy bar fridge, so I turned it off. Thanks to everyone at Caravan Hotel.
