The owner was super nice and shared wine and fruit with us. We could buy bus tickets at the hostel and pay by card, and breakfast included bread and an egg, which was a nice start to the day. It's a new, cozy place with a nice design, and I generally recommend it. The staff were also nice, but disorganized about rooms and beds. My bed was comfortable, but it wasn't clean: there were bread crumbs on it, and the pillow smelled of someone else's perfume. There were little hairs in the sink all the time, although the shower and toilet were clean. They also gave us a towel. I had a good time anyway, thanks!

The location was great, and there's a nice Cafe in front of the hostel, which you walk through to check in. The price was good and inexpensive, but I wouldn't stay again. Staff were hard to communicate with because of a big language barrier, and it was difficult to get clear information at all. Compared with other hostels I've stayed in, they weren't very helpful or hospitable. The place also wasn't as clean as I expected: floors and bathroom were dirty, and one of the two showers and toilets was broken, making it difficult to share the single working bathroom and shower. I stayed in two room types at the same price, but they were totally different, one much better than the other.

After three days we just packed up and left. Even for budget travelers or backpackers, this is a no-go. The older woman in the house was always smiling, which was a plus, but the place was not clean and the shared room and lobby smelled of all kinds of things. The bathrooms were dirty and things weren't maintained. Staff were unprofessional and had a bad vibe; most hardly knew English, and the one guy who spoke with guests was aggressive. If you're a guy, he hits on you too. We stayed three days and around 8:30 in the morning staff were still sleeping on the lobby couch. They also didn't understand when we reported bed bugs, even after we showed a staff member live examples in the room. He just looked at them as if he didn't understand what was happening. Maybe it was the language barrier.

This family-run hostel was lovely. Everyone was really friendly, and there was a French Bulldog puppy and the cutest little girl living there. They even invited us to family dinner, which was so nice. The place was very clean and reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend it.

I returned for a second stay and got bitten by bed bugs, which was terrible. Otherwise, the staff were good and helpful, and the bed was okay for the cheap price. There was also a simple breakfast included. Without the bed bugs, I'd definitely stay again when I'm in Phnom Penh.
