The location puts you just steps from Bassac Street and all its nightlife, which was a big plus for me. It does stay lively well past 3:00 AM, though, and some of that noise gets into the hotel, so light sleepers should know. My room was clean, well kept, and a comfortable size. For the price, the amenities were great: two pools, a restaurant, and two bars. The rooftop pool and bar have a good view of the area and are nice for unwinding. The hotel itself was solid, but the staff stood out most. They were among the kindest, most professional, and welcoming people I've met while traveling. I was very impressed with the value and would happily stay at the Mettavary Hotel in Phnom Penh again.

The beds were so comfortable that I slept really well, and the hotel was super clean with an easy check-in. Staff were extremely friendly, and the location was great. There can be music, but I came here to explore Bassac lane and enjoy the night, so I loved that. If that's not your thing, bring earplugs or AirPods. I'd recommend this place to travelers.

The bathrooms had the most amazing views, and we had a really pleasant stay for almost two weeks. The hotel is super cheap for the quality, with a great location, lovely breakfast that had everything, and two pools to enjoy. The receptionists were always friendly and ready to help. I was impressed by the cleanliness and hospitality, and the Mettavary team made us feel welcome ❤️. Evenings can be a bit noisy because the area is lively, but you're close to everything. Definitely recommend it if you're coming to Phnom Penh.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and the view from the top was spectacular. Staff were welcoming and eager to help, and breakfast was delicious. I was pleased with the stay from the chance to check in early through the short survey about my experience. Good value for money.

The service and staff are the best, and it's clean with great swimming pools. The drawbacks mostly affect older guests and people with mobility issues. There are no handrails on the stairs to the rooftop bar or on other flights. Steps into the bottom pool are badly dented and could be hazardous for guests with limited mobility. There's no wheelchair access to the main sign-in desk. If you're fit and healthy, this is the hotel for you.
