New Season Riverside Hotel

The room smelled of cigarettes, the shower drain was blocked, the place was dirty, and the Wi-Fi was weak. There are steps before the elevator, and the sensor lights go out, so watch your step. They also require you to hand over your passport at check-in. Around the hotel, including the ground-floor restaurant, there were hundreds of Indian men hanging around and smoking.

I spent four days here. The room was really clean, service was quick and good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also loved the food, especially the Indian dishes, and the view from the room was 10/10. I had a very good stay and highly recommend it.

The rooms are good, but these days there are a lot of people in PP, and many are taking advantage by asking for extra money. It depends on each person's choice.

The low price was the only thing I liked. The riverside is nearby, but there’s nothing special about the location, and the surrounding bars, massage parlors, and drinking spots didn’t feel suitable for children. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially to families or anyone who cares about safety, cleanliness, and respectful treatment. We arrived around noon, before check-in, and the owner kindly let us into the room to leave our bags, asking us to come back at 2:00 p.m. after cleaning. At 2:00, it still wasn't ready. We were told cleaning was underway. When we returned again, they said we could go in and rest, but two maintenance workers needed to be inside because, they claimed, the only way to reach another room was through ours. That sounded suspicious, so we left and came back later. We eventually got the room, which looked clean but had a strong, foul, drain-like smell. We had no choice but to stay. I cleaned the floor myself with dishwashing liquid and put tissues soaked in dish soap into the AC vent to help with the smell. It improved a little. The shower, faucet, and other water fixtures weren’t working properly either. We also felt uneasy about the owner's comments. He suggested we should stop having children and said our eldest son was handsome. It felt intrusive and unsettling. We hadn't asked him for money or help, and he wasn't our parent; it felt like gossip and a boundary crossing, as if he were criticizing our family planning. His behavior reminded us of people who support population control, or depopulation. In light of current reports about kidnappings, forced labor, and organ trafficking, it disturbed us even more. We later confirmed there were no visible connections between rooms, so the claim that workers had to pass through ours made no sense, adding to our unease. Despite the delayed check-in, they were strict about checkout: guests had to leave before noon or pay extra fees.
