Okay Guesthouse

A rundown, slummy place with steep stairs. The woman wouldn't let two people check into one room unless we paid extra.

The bed was really comfortable, pillows too, and the staff were friendly. The location is good. But the rooms are tiny and dirty, especially the bathroom, which stank and had cockroaches running around. Water kept covering the bathroom floor because the shower leaked, and the toilet wouldn't flush. The sheets were dirty as well. I'm a backpacker and don't mind budget places, but this wasn't great. Fine for one night while passing through, and that's it.

Okay Guesthouse is near Nagaworld, and the location and price are great. You get the basics for a comfortable stay: a clean bed, air conditioning, hot water, and a welcoming atmosphere. The narrow stairs could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. I still recommend it for its affordability and convenient spot. Keep expectations in check and book ahead.

A good fit for easygoing backpackers and travelers who aren't too picky. The staff were very good, polite, and helpful. The rooms could be cleaner, though I'm not complaining about the hotel's general condition. Location is good, the food is good, just not the coffee, and there are good connections for trips to other cities. WiFi comes and goes, but it's enough for booking a next stay or flight, checking maps, and transferring money.
