One Residence Hotel & Apartment

The location was the one good thing. Management seems to have neglected the property’s condition for a long time. The bathroom tap was leaking, and the receptionist asked me not to change the air conditioning settings because otherwise it would stop working.

The rooms are spacious, and there’s an excellent gym, underground parking, and a rooftop pool. The room itself was great, although the bedsheet had a few stains. I also found the $100USD deposit required for every stay inconvenient, especially since they don’t accept card payment for it.

The room comes with a living area, kitchen, and private bathroom, plus a free minibar, coffee, and pastry each morning. There’s a well-equipped gym and a nice pool for swimming, and you can do your laundry yourself in the free laundry room. Security were helpful when I needed to cross the road to the nearby mall.

The security staff outside were fantastic, helping me cross the road, get in and out of transport, and handle my luggage. The rooms were great, with water, beer, soft drinks, and plenty of snacks always included in the fridge. I found the pool too hot during the day, but it was a godsend in the evening when I wanted to cool off. I’d stay here again.
