Pra-Tna Guest House and Coffee

The hotel is clean and small, and the price is decent. You'll pay $5.00 more a night for air conditioning, and street noise can get loud sometimes. The restaurant food was okay, but I'd walk a few blocks down 13th toward the Museum and eat at Kabbas instead. The Royal Palace, National Museum, Silver Pagoda, and Wat Phnom are all an easy walk away.

It was $12usd a night for a fan room, cheap and close to the Riverside area, but I won't be back. The walls had mould, the ceiling had cobwebs, and the bum gun was disgusting. There was no food, coffee, or bar. I got locked out and had to argue with the night receptionist to prove who I was because I didn't have ID on me. The staff seemed unhappy, and they need a lesson or two in hospitality. You get what you pay for, but I'd look elsewhere.

We stopped by for a cold drink after visiting the market, and it was fantastic. Prices were $1.50-$3 depending on what you ordered. The staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke English. Customers could also use a washroom.

It's a pretty good deal for the price, though not great. The area is very convenient, and there are more fun places around the corner on street 172.
