We found a better place elsewhere, even though this one was cheap. It wasn’t easy to locate, though the Google pin was pretty much right; you just have to show the tuk tuk driver Google Maps. The rooms were basic and had no loo roll, there was no kettle, and planes were loud. The night porter didn’t speak English, which wasn’t surprising. Etc etc...
The airport being nearby and the price are the main positives. Staff had very limited English, and the restaurant/skybar wasn’t operating. The rooms had some furnishings but were basic, and even basic toiletries were missing.
For the price in this area, it’s amazing value. The staff were helpful and friendly, my room was clean, and the AC could be set nice and cold if you wanted. Proper lodging even for a discerning traveler.
You get your money’s worth, and I made use of some of the gym equipment during my stay. The place is on a narrow street, so follow Google Maps to the exact address.
The room was fairly priced and came with a TV, AC, and a bathroom with both hot and cold water. It’s also near Phnom Penh international airport.
