The staff were friendly, and at first the hotel seemed lovely. But they didn’t mention that renovation work was happening behind the wall, with walls being knocked down that morning. Being jolted awake by that at 8 a.m. in a hotel costing over $25 a night was awful. I’ve never been in such an aggressive mood in the morning. It felt like they cared about taking our money more than providing a comfortable room. Don’t waste your time. This beautiful city has plenty of nice hotels and apartments. I’ll never come back to this damn place.

The staff were amazing, really kind and attentive, and breakfast was good and free. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to the royal place, with lots of great restaurants nearby. The room was very dim and could use more light. Wi-Fi was really weak, and the bathroom tap needs fixing or replacing.

Lovely place with friendly, sweet staff and good beds, right in the heart of the city. It’s a great area if you’re coming to see what Phnom Penh has to offer, though traffic can be noisy. Good for a short stay. There’s no elevator.

For a budget stay, especially on your own, this is a good option and good value for the money. The staff are great. It has some faults, like no Wi-Fi in the room and an empty soap dispenser, but it’s a two star hotel and you get what you pay for.

We had to check out early, and the staff kindly prepared breakfast for us to take along. They were so friendly, and the location is great for exploring Phnom Penh. Breakfast was nice, and we appreciated the fruit. I gave four stars because room 201 needs some attention: a drip from the room above is damaging the ceiling. Apart from that, no issues. A good budget stay.
