Angkor Village Suites

The rooms were roomy and had lovely details, especially the tile work in the bathroom and across the floors. They had everything we needed. The restaurant had tasty food and plenty of local dishes, while breakfast mixed local and Western options, including à la carte choices. The hotel feels like a leafy retreat, with ponds, plants and traditional wooden decor just beyond the entrance. It’s set in central Siem Reap, a little away from the Pub Street backpacker hub, which suited us. We could still walk easily to the markets and town attractions, including Pub Street. I’d absolutely recommend it for a city break.

We had a good time sitting in the big lounge in the late afternoon, watching the monsoon rain fall over the beautiful gardens. The hotel feels like a complete oasis, and the staff were friendly. We also used the facilities and restaurant, and everything was immaculate.

The hotel is a short walk from the city center, where there’s plenty to find, from food and massages to souvenirs. We had a delicious breakfast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our spacious room had a wonderful view. With its distinctive architecture, pond and tropical garden, this is the best small luxury hotel I’ve stayed in.

We loved the breakfasts and dinners, and the hotel was even more beautiful in person than its own photos suggest. Each night, we found a flower, treats and a traditional one-page story waiting for us. The service was amazing. The hotel arranged our early morning Angkor Wat trip, Kulen Elephant Forest visit and Apsara Theater show, and everything was organized perfectly. Everything about our stay was perfect.
