The rooms were very clean, service was great, and I liked the location. I had a great time overall, but the nearby construction was really loud during my visit in Jan 2026. The two things behind my '2-star fail' are that noise and breakfast. The buffet had little variety and felt odd; the taste or serving sizes need work. I know the construction isn't something the hotel controls, but it was annoying. They should lower the price while the work is going on.

The hotel is a bit remote from town, though tuk-tuks are available. They also offer paid rides for tours and airport transfers. Rooms are spacious and clean, the atmosphere is pleasant, and staff are polite and friendly. There’s a pool, plus complimentary WiFi and breakfast, but vegetarian choices are very limited. Bring enough USD when traveling in Cambodia, since most people accept only cash in USD.

There are some good features here, including a large bedroom and ensuite and a stunning swimming pool, but the whole hotel needs renovation. Towels, bedsheets, and dining room chairs were stained. The kettle was broken, the fridge wasn't plugged in, and we were told there was no ariel, so the TV had no channels. The staff also didn't seem to have hospitality experience. The food and meal service were especially bad. At breakfast, cold foods like yogurt, fruit, dressings, and salads sat out without ice or refrigeration, despite the weather being 32-34C each day. The butter had melted, and food was put out in tiny bowls. During our one lunch and a few breakfasts, my family were the only guests eating there. Around five staff sat watching us silently, without asking if we needed anything. The pizzas we ordered while waiting for our room were partly uncooked and disgusting, so we left them. We also left our drinks after finding mouldy plastic stirrers in them. Staff didn't seem bothered when we complained about either. We had several problems trying to get help. Staff said they'd received my multiple emails before arrival with our arrival time, but had ignored them. When I raised this, they didn't seem concerned or even apologize. We asked for a free lunch to make up for it, but they refused, so we paid for two pizzas because my young children were hungry. There was no secure luggage storage either. I saw other guests' bags left beside the front desk, which looks onto a small garden leading directly to the main road with no doors or gates. We raised that too, and staff didn't seem bothered. Whenever we asked for a "Manager," we were told there was no manager and that the team had to check decisions together. The answer was always no, even for small requests. They didn't know who owned the hotel and had no complaints process. I felt they were inflexible and acted as if the customer was always wrong. On our last day, I asked the receptionist whether we should get to the airport 2 or 3 hours before an international flight. She said 2 minutes before departure. I obviously didn't take that advice. Maybe she hadn't flown before, but hotel staff should have a basic idea of how air travel works, especially with guests coming from abroad.

The staff were nice, breakfast was fairly good, and the coffee was excellent, but the drawbacks outweigh those positives. Construction next door was very loud, no TV worked anywhere in the hotel, and the bathroom's cement floor became dangerously slippery when wet. It's also quite far from the center. Poor value for money, and I wouldn't recommend it.

It's a handy location for seeing Angkor Wat, and the rooms are spacious, but they were dirty. Staff knew very little about the area and couldn't even point me to nearby restaurants. Breakfast was limited, with butter and fruit left warm and melting because there was no fridge. The food was awful, hard, and mouldy. Ten staff members watched me eat without asking if I needed anything. I would not come back.
