Cambana d'Angkor Suites

With only nine individually designed rooms, Cambana d'Angkor Suites felt peaceful and personal. Chiv, the General Manager, was incredibly helpful with arranging temple tours, cultural shows, and transport, and the whole team was kind, professional, and ready with local suggestions. The rooms were beautifully designed and well maintained, making a comfortable place to come back to after exploring the city. It's a small hotel that does service and atmosphere really well. I'd absolutely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

We really liked the hotel. Since it was the down season, we were the only guests, and they kindly discounted the price when we added an extra bed to our room. It was right across from an expat supermarket, so it worked out well for us.

The staff are warm and helpful, and breakfast comes as a tasty set menu. There’s a large supermarket close by for souvenirs. The wooden decor can seem a little dated, though the building’s age didn’t get in the way of a good stay. It’s a good pick if you want to be away from the busy city.

I felt like I had the place to myself, tucked away in a quiet spot outside the city centre. Getting around was easy with cheap rides on the GrabApp, so the distance suited me perfectly. The staff were lovely and kept the grounds looking like a little jungle oasis. Whenever I came back, they greeted me, and at the pool they brought house-made drinks and plantain chips. Each morning they asked whether I had plans or wanted help arranging anything. My room was a surprise in the best way. The bathtub had been filled and scattered with flower petals, and I had my own two-tier wraparound balcony. I hadn’t looked closely at what the price included, so the room and whole experience went well beyond what I expected from the online booking. It felt like luxury, whatever your budget. Thanks for making Cambodia unforgettable. I hope I can return someday.
