Cheata Residence

The owner was so kind and ready to help with anything I needed. It's a peaceful place, and the people there were friendly and helpful. My room was really clean and nice, and the pool was perfect. They had the chlorine level just right, unlike most places. I really enjoyed my stay and can't recommend this lovely hotel and its owner enough.

After discovering Cheata, I've kept coming back to Siem Reap for work and leisure and haven't stayed anywhere else. It's peaceful, in a stunning setting, and good value for money. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The swimming pool is picture-perfect, and the owner is amazing. Such a hidden gem.

I got stuck when the other place turned out to be closed, and found this one nearby. They let me use the WiFi while I figured out whether to stay or look elsewhere. The staff were helpful. It's just off downtown, with lots of greenery that makes it feel like another world. There's a well-kept pool, and the rooms look like most of the photos. They have a tuktuk available and a nice SUV for airport pickups. There are two or three floors of rooms, including family rooms. Rooms are non-smoking, but you can smoke on the porch. At breakfast, they allow some substitutions, like fruit instead of beans and mushrooms. Guests can fill a bottle from the hot and cold filtered water, even if arriving late. You can tell the staff care, they're people just like you. There is beautiful art and decor around the place, plus a steam room, sauna, and gym upstairs.

It was easy to explore Siem Reap from this convenient location, and I really enjoyed my stay at Cheata Residence. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout the trip. I'd happily come back.
