Toma deserves a special thanks. He made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The service was impeccable, and the rooms were fantastic. Breakfast had a wide selection, including local dishes and food from other cultures. This Marriott is close to Angkor Wat and two of the three golf resorts. I highly recommend staying here.

The kids would probably love the pool, and I liked the lobby too. Breakfast had a good spread, with separate stations for different foods, including Western, Asian, Chinese, and Cambodian options. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy, about five minutes once it was our turn. The room and amenities get five stars from me, and the restaurant and room service four. The check-in agent was polite and fast, also four stars. Welcome service during check-in was only two stars, though. There was a queue and nobody explained what to do or when we'd be seen. I noticed warm or cold towels, but we didn't get one. There was also just one counter open. Good hotel overall.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with loads of choice and freshly made Indian and vegetarian dishes that were seriously tasty. I also loved the afternoon tea set, especially sitting by the pool with the view. Our room was huge and very comfortable, looking out over the pool, and the service was top-notch. Courtyard by Marriott Siem Reap felt like a gem and great value: we paid $69 through a local Water Festival promotion. Angkor Wat is about 15 minutes away. I'd happily come back, and highly recommend staying here in Siem Reap.

Dear Marriott Corporate Customer Care, I am asking Marriott to seriously review what happened during my recent stay and tell me what corrective action will be taken. My family and I have felt unwelcome and mistreated. Our room key cards were repeatedly deactivated, sending us back to the front desk, and housekeeping disconnected our calls several times when we asked for towels, so we had to go downstairs for help. This seemed retaliatory or punitive. The problems began at the front desk, mainly in my interactions with Ms. Samnang. I am a Platinum Elite member, but my status was not acknowledged in any meaningful way. I was told I was being upgraded from two twin beds to two double beds with a pool view. My confirmed booking already showed two rooms, each with two double beds and a walk-out balcony overlooking the pool. When I showed the confirmation, I was abruptly told upgrades depended on availability, making clear that the claimed upgrade was inaccurate. There was also a lengthy argument about breakfast. I repeatedly explained that my three grandchildren were all under eight. Eventually I was told breakfast was included for children under twelve and two adults. I had booked a third room and reasonably expected my applicable Elite benefits to be honored, yet the confusion continued. During that exchange Ms. Samnang raised her voice and said, “Now you listen.” I found that dismissive and entirely inappropriate. After I spoke with the General Manager, Mr. Huy Chanratha, things briefly settled. He was courteous and seemed to understand my concerns. But the next morning the front desk sent a letter demanding a second “Friends and Family” form for the second room. When I asked about it, staff made a phone call, then said the letter had been sent in error and no form was needed. I told Mr. Chanratha, and he said he would look into it. Despite several attempts to reach him since then, he has been unavailable. The stay had started with a warm welcome, which makes the subsequent front desk interactions all the more disappointing. The experience fell far below the standards I associate with Marriott and the Bonvoy program. Please address the staff conduct and let me know how you will ensure loyal guests are treated professionally and respectfully. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Sanjiv Nundy Platinum Elite Member

Breakfast was a standout, with plenty of Indian vegetarian choices. Sanjay made excellent dosais and uthappams, and the buffet was as good as, or better than, what I expect at a Marriott. The front desk and concierge were also great at arranging transport and restaurant reservations. Sreyuth, Dina, Sak, and Sokhey deserve a special mention for going above and beyond. Everyone we met was cordial and responded to our needs promptly. My wife and I stayed Dec 26 - 29th 2025, traveling from the US, around NY/NJ. I'm a Lifetime Titanium member and wasn't sure what to expect. The hotel sits just off a major highway, so it was quiet, and the location worked well for Angkor Wat, Pub Street, and restaurants in the old city. Those spots aren't walkable, but they're about 10 minutes away by tuk-tuk or car. The facilities and service exceeded our expectations. I'd definitely recommend it.
