The Anantara is a bit outside downtown Siem Reap, but getting into town and back was easy with their tuktuk service. We had a lovely stay. The property is beautiful, the rooms feel luxurious, and the staff took such good care of me. They went far above and beyond, and I can’t recommend the place highly enough.

We left Anantara Angkor Resort relaxed and deeply grateful, with a lot to reflect on about the country and the circumstances many of its people face. That made the kindness and dignity we encountered feel especially moving. The resort itself is elegant, peaceful, and beautiful, with careful attention to detail. What stays with us most, though, is the hospitality. The team welcomed us with real warmth and smiles, and every interaction felt personal, sincere, and thoughtful. Their service was highly professional, but we also felt genuinely valued and cared for, almost like royalty. Anantara Angkor Resort felt like more than a beautiful hotel to us, it had real soul. We’d recommend it without hesitation and would happily return.

We visited Angkor Wat on a tour we booked through the property. It’s about a 20 minute drive away, and we also used the property tuk tuk to get into town. Our room overlooked the pool and was spacious, beautiful, and immaculate. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We enjoyed afternoon tea and dinner on separate occasions, and both were great. The restaurant was a quiet, nicely decorated place to relax. The standout was the service. The front desk manager and everyone else we met were so friendly and helpful. I stayed in 2024 and somehow missed writing a review then, but the experience made such a positive impression that I’m writing one a full year later. I’d gladly stay again.

The food was incredible, with lots of choices at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. For us as a couple, the resort was a perfect place to unwind and a good base for seeing Angkor. It has a calm feel and sits away from the busy, very touristy center, so we could take it easy, get in the pool, and enjoy the day. I highly recommend it.

That surprise birthday celebration they arranged for me made the stay especially memorable. We also found the resort a wonderful place to unwind after exploring Siem Reap, with a relaxing pool and a serene spa that seemed expertly run. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive throughout. Dining was consistently excellent, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with plenty of flavors, cuisines, and healthy choices. The stay exceeded our expectations.
