Empress Angkor Resort & Spa

We stayed at Empress Residence Resort and Spa with our family, leaving on September 6th, and had a fantastic trip. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with fresh, delicious food and a good mix of local and international dishes that suited everyone. The resort was spotless, from our rooms to the shared areas, which were consistently well maintained. The staff made the visit especially memorable. Everyone we met was kind, attentive, and ready to help with a smile, whether arranging transport, answering questions, or simply greeting us warmly. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap, especially families. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

The hotel is a bit away from the city center, with no restaurants or shops nearby, but a tuk tuk or taxi takes about 15 minutes to get there. I’d recommend it if you’re looking to relax and unwind. The staff gave me useful tourism information about Anlor wat and helped arrange a driver at an affordable price. After all the walking at Ankor wat, the hot bath and spa were a welcome way to rest. I also bought a Cambodian dress for a photo shoot, and the staff kindly took lots of pictures around the hotel. There are plenty of nice interiors and facilities that made great backdrops.

I spent a week at this beautiful, luxurious hotel, and the thing I’ll miss most is the staff. The place is perfectly maintained, and they’re attentive, always greeting you with a smile and personal attention. Special thanks to Sithav, Samoan, and the cooks and servers at the breakfast buffet.

The room and bathroom were both spacious, but there was only one power outlet, far from the bed. That made it impossible for two people to charge phones, a camera, and other things. The wooden floor had also been over-waxed and was extremely slippery.
