The garden and decorations around the hotel were lovely, and our room was clean and very spacious. I liked having a bathtub, though I didn’t get to try the hot tub. The pool was large and beautiful, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, but not my favorite. The gym could use more equipment and wasn’t very clean. It’s a quiet location, with a convenience store and pharmacy almost next door and a small coffee shop opposite. There isn’t much else until you walk 15-20 minutes.

Hillocks Hotel has a lovely green area, and the breakfast was good, especially the delicious coffee served by a bartender. The spa prices seemed much higher than in the city center. Maybe the spa is better, but we didn’t try it, so I can’t say. The staff, from bartenders and reception to housekeepers, were all kind, professional, and helpful. Special thanks to Sammy at reception for being so welcoming and always greeting us with a big smile. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a fantastic, huge, clean room with an amazing bathtub, close to the pool, bar, and gym. It’s outside the city center’s hustle and bustle, but only about a five-minute drive away. I rarely post reviews on Google, but my amazing stay at Hillocks Hotel made me leave a five-star one. I fully recommend it to anyone coming to Siem Reap. Special thanks to the Hillocks team.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The service was consistently poor, and the food quality was unacceptable, especially the pizza. The room’s broken door lock also left its security compromised, and the air conditioning couldn’t keep it at a comfortable temperature.

The hotel is clearly more expensive than others, but I thought it was worth it. My room was very nice and clean, with no faults. The TV had a limited selection, which was a shame at night. I stayed just one night while traveling quickly through Cambodia. The reception staff were polite and well-mannered, even in English, and kept trying to help however they could.

The rooms are really big but very minimalist, which I personally like, though that comes down to taste. Breakfast is just good enough, and the pool is nice for a lazy day. I’m happy with this place, and the person at the hotel desk is really the best. I recommend both the hotel and the city.
