I’ve lived here for more than four years now, and staying in Siem Reap, Cambodia was the right choice for the long term. It’s peaceful, with kind and helpful family and neighbors, lots of nice people from around the world, and small shops and markets nearby. The city is about 10 minutes away by tuktuk.

Mey and her family put a lot of effort into looking after the property. The rooms are spacious and clean, the location is great, and the hosts serve the limited food choices with a lot of care. The host is welcoming and easy to talk to, almost like family, and the other guests are super friendly too. It’s 6KM outside the city center, with a Cambodian rural feel. Bring mosquito repellent cream or spray.

The family made me feel at home, and I already miss the place after three nights. They were friendly and ready to help with anything on the trip. It’s much farther from town, so getting there is harder, but the quiet and slower pace are a nice break from the busy city. I was fine on my scooter, and they have some available to rent. I hope to come back and stay longer.

It’s a resort rather than a homestay, but a very pleasant one, with lovely hosts and nice guests. The location is good, though there are very few facilities nearby unless you’re keen on eating duck egg foetus, which you can get just up the road.

A lovely family make this a welcoming, comfortable place to unwind. The rice field views are beautiful, and town is only a 10-minute bike ride away. The food here is great if you decide to eat on-site, and it’s a nice place to meet people. Highly recommended.
