Ibis Budget Phnom Penh Riverside

Everything was clean and working, and the room size was what I expected from a Toyoko Inn. For this price, it's hard to beat. Just keep in mind it's a budget place, so don't expect Novotel level, but it does the job.

Being in Chinatown puts the hotel right in the city center, with street dining and places to hang out or party nearby. Aeon Mall is also an easy walk, about 500 meters away. My check-in as a Gold Accor Member went smoothly, and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean when I arrived, and I felt the stay was worth the price. I especially enjoyed the tasty, affordable breakfast. A few things to know: they no longer provide toothbrushes or bottled water in the room, so bring your own. You also have to refill the water pitcher yourself by going out to the hallway dispenser.

I was in town for a five-day business trip, and the location made things convenient, close to the city center and a short distance from Diamond Island Exhibition Center. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. The room was okay for a budget hotel, though you have to request cleaning if you want it done. Breakfast was very simple, as you'd expect at this price. A good option for basic comfort and convenience without spending much.

The beds were like rocks, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping out, though it worked better on the 20th floor. Rooms were cleaned every second day rather than daily, which was annoying. We also had to switch rooms and floors while they did pest control. Still, the hotel was clean and well located, with street food just outside and the mall, riverfront, Grand Palace, and walking street market all within walking distance. The windows had good views. Staff were super friendly, and there was 24/7 staffing with security outside. All in all, a good hotel.
