My earlier stays here had been good, but this visit was disappointing. I arrived late and was told only one room was left, one with a private carport entrance. There was an opened pack of condoms on the bedside table, and one side of the bed had clearly been used. With nowhere else to go so late, I moved the used bedding aside and slept. In the morning, staff demanded to know why I'd shut the garage door, accused me of having a woman in the room, which I hadn't, and still insisted on the full $20 after I told them the room had been used. I refused to pay it. This is what the Japanese call a Love Hotel.

The area is crowded, but the hotel feels safe and getting around is easy. Rooms are a little small, though kept clean, and the price is reasonable. A decent spot to relax for a night or just three hours.

It's a private hotel where most guests seem to be couples, so it doesn't feel like the nicest choice for a family. For couples, it can work well, especially for an overnight stay. They also offer stays of up to three hours, which seems popular.
