The grounds were peaceful, surrounded by lotus fields, though town was only about 10 minutes away. My room was spacious and spotless, and the pool felt like a dream. Hak and his family were the best part, so sweet. Ming cooked amazingly, and I had one of her mango smoothies every day. After a week there, I spent hours feeling sad that it was time to leave.

Hak and his wife Ming run a great place in Siem Reap and do a lot to meet guests' needs. Hak really cares about the people staying there. I can't say whether there could be a better host, and after meeting them I was happy to recommend the hotel.

I stayed at Hak's house for three weeks, and by the end Hak felt like a friend. I've never had a host be so accommodating. The rooms were clean and nice, and his smoothies were fantastic. I really appreciated everything he did for us and would recommend staying there 100%.

The homemade Loc Lak was one of the best dishes we tried in Cambodia, so I definitely recommend ordering it. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were nice and had AC.

We found the pool and yard fantastic, and the stay was good value for our group. The location is peaceful, though too far from the city to walk. The owner was kind and very helpful, arranging tuktuks, scooter rentals, floating village tours and whatever else we needed. Breakfast was available at a low price, and we paid ahead through booking. Even when the road sometimes flooded, tuktuks could still get us to the property, so I'm not sure what explains all the complaints.
