Hotel Be Angkor

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the hotel restaurant is nice too, with breakfast included. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. When I accidentally changed my suitcase lock’s password, someone helped me open it with pliers. My room was very clean, with things like a toothbrush, toothpaste and shampoo provided. I stayed for three nights and the location really stood out: it’s about 100 meters from Pub Street, or a one-minute walk straight down an alley, while still letting you have a quiet night. I’d definitely recommend it.

The music from Pub Street didn’t reach this lovely little spot just off the street. The staff were amazing and helped us arrange transport and tours for less than the other tour desks quoted. From booking and breakfast to cleaning and laundry, the service was great. I’ve been to Siem Reap a few times, and this was the best hotel I’ve found for the money, with the best staff too. I’ll absolutely come back. Thanks so much!

I’m here for work and wasn’t expecting anything fancy, just a clean room. Instead, both pillows and the bedding on the two twin beds have black mold. I’ve had a runny nose and sneezing, and searches on Google supported my concern about the health risk. I’ve travelled a lot and never dealt with anything like this. I’ll ask to change rooms first thing in the morning. I booked seven nights and prepaid through Agoda, so I expected them to take a bit more care with the details. I don’t usually write reviews, but felt I had to so the business can improve or others can avoid staying here.

The location is convenient, only a three-minute walk from pub street and close to bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and the night market. The reception area is very nice, and breakfast there was pretty good, with nice fruit and decent airplane-style coffee. The staff were excellent, sweet and attentive. Everything felt five-star or better. We highly recommend it and would happily return.
