The staff were very helpful.

The room and pool were fine, but the staff and manager kept trying to scam us. They wanted to charge for breakfast even though it was included, and their website even says "breakfast free." The laundry damaged our clothes, and they misrepresented the weight as 7.7 kg for two bags. My entire 60-liter backpack weighs 10 kg. They then accused us of making it up or of including white items, which they said caused other clothes to discolor. We eventually proved what happened, and the manager offered to pay for the clothes. We agreed on the condition that they wouldn’t charge us for laundry. Even after the matter was settled, they tried to charge for laundry again instead of the breakfasts they said weren’t included. It was deeply disappointing, a constant attempt at fraud and rip-offs, and they didn’t even apologize.

Across the street is Angkor Market, the biggest market in Siem Reap, though prices are higher than in Korea or Europe for items comparable to Daiso or even cheaper Korean supermarkets. Just left of it there’s a reasonably priced Korean BBQ restaurant with all-you-can-eat pork belly for $5. It wasn’t on Google, so I couldn’t try it. The hotel itself is cheap and clean, and the young staff are very friendly. I picked it for its cute little pool, and I’d come back for the pool and the warm service. It’s not near Pub Street or Lucky Mall, so getting there means walking or taking a tuk-tuk. Breakfast isn’t much to expect, and there are roundabout and bike rentals available.
