Jolie＇s Home & Kitchen Siem Reap

Our second-floor room at Den Hotel was roomy and clean, and the pool was a welcome way to cool off. We were close enough to the city center for convenience, but away from the busiest streets. We loved our stay and would come back.

Even with the Khmer New Year celebrations happening right nearby, the hotel stayed peaceful. The pool was nice, and the people were lovely.

The hotel is older, but everything worked fine, and I don't understand the complaints others have made about that. It's on a quiet street close to everything, with friendly English-speaking staff. My room was spacious, clean and quiet, with working air conditioning, a small fridge and a usable bathroom. The pool wasn't anything memorable, but it was a calm place to unwind, with loungers available. Room cleaning isn't daily, so it's something to arrange depending on how long you're staying. For what I paid, it was great value. One small downside, the pillows were too hard.

We used the hotel as our base for six nights in Siem Reap, and it made the trip more comfortable. Staff were helpful and kept our room clean. The common areas are large, with plenty of seats, and the pool has loungers. Cafes and restaurants are nearby, with the market and pub street a short walk away. Our room was large and comfortable, with a balcony, A/C and private bathroom. Filtered water, tea and coffee were free in the lobby. It's a lovely older hotel, and the owner's two cats were very friendly. For our temple tours, we hired Mr. Neang, whose wife runs the restaurant attached to the hotel. His tuk tuk is usually parked out front. He was great, knew a lot, and adjusted the tours around our physical limitations. 10/10, would definitely recommend.
