We were treated kindly throughout, and the staff helped with whatever we needed. The pool was clean and got plenty of afternoon sun, just right for unwinding after a morning at the temples. Our room was huge and very clean, with a big balcony and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. The hotel is in central Siem Reap, about a five-minute walk from the bars, restaurants, and night market. If you’re planning a visit, it’s worth checking whether they have a room available.

The hotel was peaceful and spacious, with comfortable rooms, big beds, and room service. Breakfast had plenty of variety, the pool was fantastic and open from early morning until 9 pm, and everyone we met on staff was welcoming. Sarin made a difference from the start. He was attentive, handled details through checkout, suggested activities at reasonable prices, and arranged our bookings in advance so we could make the most of the places and times. We stayed with my parents in January 2026 and had a wonderful time. The city center and markets are only five minutes away, and the location worked well for exploring the area. We’d definitely return. Thanks to Sarin and the whole team for making the stay unforgettable.

The in-room massage was amazing, and I especially enjoyed the deluxe room and swimming pool during happy hour. Everyone on staff was super friendly. After I got sick from eating out, they offered me an extra night at the same rate so I could rest before the drive back to Phenom Penh. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll be back.

I spent the next 10 days in Room 402, where housekeeping kept everything spotless, the dining room staff were great, and the women at reception were friendly. Breakfast was adequate and included an egg bar. The hotel is well located, with eateries nearby and a tuk-tuk ride to the tourist sights, including Angkor Watt and The Lotus Garden. APOPO is a must for seeing The Herorat. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay. Getting there was rough. I arrived late at Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel and was told at check-in they didn’t accept Visa and that I had to pay cash for transport. The confirmation receipt said nothing about cash payment, and I didn’t have any. A tall, unfriendly worker in a white shirt took me to a room with a brick wall view instead of the city view, and a queen-size bed instead of the single I’d requested. I showed him my printed confirmation, but he totally ignored me. He also didn’t help with my luggage when I walked out. We went back to reception, where I showed the booking again. He then directed me to a room with a view, but the balcony door wouldn’t open until he tried it himself, so we went back to reception again. The man there said no other room was available. I said that wasn’t good enough, and he called someone, then gave me Room 402. At checkout, there was also an issue with Ops Manager Saris over my airport transport. He seemed unhappy that I hadn’t used his driver, and I wondered why. My own driver, whom I’d booked six days earlier, arrived at the hotel while the hotel driver was in the driveway. The Ops Manager approached him and tried to turn him away. My driver later told me what had happened and said he’d never experienced that before. It wasn’t good, and I suspect the hotel driver would have earned a kickback.

The housekeepers were very, very friendly, but being charged extra for bedsheets after my girlfriend had an unexpected menstrual stain left me disappointed. It wasn’t deliberate, and this can happen to any woman. The charge felt unnecessary, like something from a cheap hotel chain. A man in a white T-shirt had photos of the stain on his phone, which made my girlfriend feel awful when I told her about it. I’ve been coming to this hotel every year, but I think management and staff have changed since last year. I didn’t recognize anyone this time except one older woman. After this, I won’t be coming back.
