With just 10 thoughtfully designed rooms, Mohasal Angkor Boutique has the calm feel of a boutique retreat. It’s only a few minutes’ drive from Pub Street, Old Market, and the Angkor Night Market. Visiting it in Siem Reap felt like finding a cozy urban hideaway, with warmth, simplicity, and genuine mainlift.

I found this boutique on social media, on TikTok, and hoped for attentive, professional care. Instead, I felt really bad and very disappointed. On the first day, when I checked in and entered the room, there was no tissue paper, and everything felt unprofessional. The next day, they lost our motorcycle key, so I had to wait while they looked for it. It wasted my time. I’m really disappointed.

Big rooms with all the amenities, a lovely pool, and a really peaceful feel. It’s a nice little boutique hotel, and at under $15 a night the price is very affordable. I’d recommend it.

The bed was comfortable, and they provided free drinking water. But the pool didn’t look suitable for swimming, the bathroom smelled when we arrived, and nobody offered fresh towels or toiletries. For what we got, the hotel felt overpriced.
