Moloppor Cafe Hotel

We love this quiet, quaint spot by the river, with excellent food, drinks, and service. There’s indoor and outdoor dining, lots of dishes to choose from, and an attached cafe serving coffee and alcoholic drinks. Their soup dishes are well known, and mornings seem to bring in more affluent locals. 🙏

The place looks simple, so don’t let that put you off. Our friends in Siem Reap recommended it, and the food was great. They have Cambodian and Western dishes, everything we tried was yummy, and the prices are affordable. Local recommendations are good to trust!

You can hear the water fountain dripping next door while you enjoy a peaceful coffee. The cafe is surrounded by trees and overlooks the river, with a nice, breezy feel. Everyone seemed friendly and gave us space. Really nice coffee.

I’ve been a regular local customer and used to go here often with friends and colleagues after work. Recently I brought my father, aunt, and brother during a holiday, and the service was bad. My usual order included my favorite crispy fried fish with green chili sauce, but it arrived late and was poor quality, not crispy at all, more like old fried fish. I was very disappointed. My dad kindly told me not to complain and ate it, but I felt bad bringing my family there. As a local, I won’t recommend this place to anyone again.
