Pavillon d'Angkor

I liked the design, pool, and garden, and the guy serving breakfast was super friendly. Breakfast tasted good, though there weren’t many options. The room was fairly dirty when we arrived. There was a used towel in the bathroom, a dental stick and an ear cleaning stick on the nightstand, and an empty cosmetic bottle on the floor. The balcony table and floor were dusty and hadn’t been cleaned. Housekeeping didn’t improve over our three days there. I told the manager, who said many cleaning staff were on holiday. There still seemed to be a good number of people looking after the 16 rooms, though, and if you present yourself as a 4 Star hotel, you should be able to sort out that shortfall. With a bit more effort and some more smiles from staff, this could have been a memorable stay. As it was, I’d look for another hotel if I return to Siem Reap.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and breakfast tasted good. I stayed for 3 nights in June, and the refreshing poolside helped me feel fresh when I woke up. They also gave us a free airport pickup and transfer, which made things very comfortable. Fantastic place and great value, top luxury 5 star ever. I’ll come back on a future trip to Siem Reap.

We’ve only just started our travels around Cambodia, but Pavillion D'angkor has already made a great impression. The hotel is a few minutes by tuk-tuk from Siam Reap center, and sent a driver named Lucky to collect us from the airport. His laid-back manner suits this peaceful little hotel perfectly. The hotel does everything it can to make your stay good. The beds are the most comfortable we’ve found, the remote-controlled air conditioning is spot on, and the restaurant food is cooked very well. We haven’t even left yet, but wanted to write this in case someone is looking for a quaint, relaxing place to stay. We have a travel blog for this trip and will definitely mention the hotel in it extensively. Greg and Karen

The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I was greeted with refreshing drinks and a cool towel. I love the hotel’s decoration. It’s close to Pubstreet and Old Market, and a pretty good price to stay. Recommended to all!
