Sala Siem Reap Hotel

We booked the floating village trip through the hotel, and it became one of the highlights of our Cambodia visit. Our driver and guide Ly shared fascinating history and made the day unforgettable. If you're going to the floating village, ask for Ly. Every return from an outing also came with cold towels at the door, and the lobby team, Karl, San, Nita, and Yan Pai, and kitchen staff David, Koi, and Theara were consistently kind, smiling, and helpful. The pool has a bar serving cocktails and mocktails, there's a well equipped gym and tour guides on site, and breakfast is complimentary. The buffet had lots of choice, including fresh pastries and soba noodles. Our king-bed room had a private bathroom, two robes, hangers, a safe, and a mini fridge with drinks. It was comfortable and spotless, with a street-side window that gave us great sunset and rainstorm views. The place felt cozy and welcoming from the start. We found the location incredibly convenient. A supermarket right beside the hotel had snacks, toiletries, and anything we'd forgotten, while the King's Place was next door and the center and major sights were within a ten-minute ride. The team made us feel like friends by the end of our stay. The room, amenities, and service exceeded our expectations for the price, and the location saved us time. Highly recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms, cleanliness, facilities, and heartfelt service. We'll remember the vacation fondly. Thank you all!

The hotel was far enough from the parties for us to sleep well, but still close to everything. The grocery store next door came in handy for anything we hadn't packed, and tuk-tuks were always waiting out front to take us to pub street. Staff were informative and helped arrange tours and rides. Breakfast was exactly what I needed and a good price, while the pool was great for cooling off with a few drinks. The rooms were cleaned daily and had air conditioning, a safe, and a small fridge. We were welcomed back with cold drinks and snacks, and I felt very safe here.

The room was excellent, with a comfy bed and daily turnover, and I loved the pool. But what made my six nights at Sala siem reap was the incredible, friendly staff. As a solo traveller, I felt so welcome and at home. I was sad to leave, but I'll definitely come back on my next visit to Siem Reap and recommend the hotel to anyone going. It was our first time in Cambodia, and the team at Sala Siem Riep made us feel so welcome and cared for. Kark, San, Nana and Houng were the most amazing staff, all so kind and thoughtful. I've never had better hotel service. The location is perfect, the rooms were clean and had all the amenities, and they arranged a lovely tuk-tuk driver for tours as well as a great guide.
