It was reasonably priced, and the location worked well: quiet, yet just a short walk from Pub Street. The rooms were spacious and clean, and there’s a lovely pool area. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I’d definitely stay again.

I woke with a sore back because the beds were so hard, and the sheets were dirty with yellow marks. The walls were dusty, the air conditioning was loud, and we only got one towel. We found several cockroaches in the room and bathroom, including dead ones under the bed when we arrived. It wasn’t clean: there was even an earbud from previous guests. Breakfast was very poor, so we went to Brown café on days two and three. We’ll never come back.

The pool water seemed barely filtered, and the pool area smelled of Chinese food all day. There was a rat in the hall, and construction was going on while the hotel was open. It wasn’t clean at all, and the bathroom was outdated. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooms were cozy and clean, though the pink bathroom felt a little dated. Breakfast was on the small side, with fruit, cereal, and bread. Staff were friendly. The pool was clean but could use a little maintenance.
