Service was the strongest part of our stay. Daly, our concierge, smoothly sorted out the Angkor tour, restaurant bookings, and spa appointments. We loved the private car: after the heat, coming back to cold water and a lotus-scented towel felt wonderful. The hotel's guide knew the area and shaped the tour around what interested us. Breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had, with a considered mix of Khmer and Western food, and the pool was pleasant with good service. At checkout, it took a while to sort out our hotel credit from The Edit, but otherwise the staff made the stay feel special. I'm a big fan of Bill Bensley after staying at the InterContinental Danang, so I was excited to try Shinta Mani Angkor. His touch is here, though the design doesn't make as bold an impression as some of his other projects. The main building, with the lobby and rooms, feels more restrained and a little cramped, perhaps because of space limits, and the rooms show some wear. Across the street, the restaurant and spa wing has more of that dramatic “Angkor” feeling and a stronger visual impact. Even so, I had a very good stay and wished I could have stayed longer. I'd recommend it to people who want attentive service and a well-located base for Angkor, even if the design isn't as dramatic as other Bensley icons.

We spent two nights here and came away impressed by how friendly and professional everyone was, especially the breakfast servers. Yuthea welcomed us warmly both mornings and chatted with us, while Kunthea paid close attention, suggested a different specialty coffee each day, and quickly took care of our requests. Their service made the stay memorable and stood out among the 5-Star hotels in Siam Reap. We also really enjoyed the BBQ dinner on the lawn after a day visiting temples. The room wasn't as luxurious as ones we've had at other 5 star hotels in other SE countries, but the personal service makes this a place we'd recommend. We definitely recommend staying here.

The bikes were our favorite part. We enjoyed riding around town, and we'd rate a stay here 10/10 if you want to feel at home in Siem Reap. We only wish we'd booked more time in this lovely town and beautiful property. We'll be back. From the moment we landed, the staff made us feel welcome. The airport pickup had cold water and towels waiting in the car, a nice touch for the roughly hour-long drive from the new Siem Reap/Angkor airport. Phearith drove us on a private tour we'd booked through the hotel, took us to Angkor Wat for sunrise the next day, and brought us back to the airport. At the hotel, John, Donny, and Daly greeted us warmly. The service felt next-level without ever being pushy, with lots of thoughtful touches that set Shinta Mani apart from other five star properties we've stayed in. John contacted us before our arrival to arrange activities and tours. Donny helped us settle in and book dinner, and Daly was a welcoming presence in the lobby. We landed at 0845 and reached the hotel by 1000, and our room was already ready. After a long day exploring, the beautiful pool was a great place to relax. Dinner at the Cambodian restaurant was fantastic, with an elevated tasting menu that lets you try local flavors.

The pool was so clean and refreshing, and the food was exceptional. The staff were kind, respectful, and welcoming, always ready to help. They felt like family and made the whole stay magical. I really didn't want to leave, and I'd come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed for two nights before heading off on a cruise. The staff were the best part: friendly, professional, and such a pleasure to chat with. The hotel is centrally located and felt very safe for walking around. Our room was comfortable, the pool lovely, and breakfast was delicious each morning.
