Sihariddh Bnb Villa

The room itself was clean and spacious, with a good bed, a decent bathroom and good shower pressure. Check-in was fast and friendly, definitely a five from me for that. When I told the receptionist the first room I'd been given wasn't clean, he happily moved me to another one. The first room was nice and big but only half cleaned, with a lot of trash left behind. Housekeeping needs to do better. On my second stay, the noise was the bigger issue. It felt like sleeping in a hallway or on the curb out front, with sounds coming from the room above, the next room and the hallway, plus air-conditioning water dripping onto metal outside the window. There was absolutely no sound insulation.

The staff were nice, the room was clean, the Wi-Fi signal was good, and the towels were thicker than what most small hotels give you. The pool was very, very tiny, though, and the air conditioners in both rooms we rented weren't very good. Breakfast took ages. On both mornings, there were four of us, but only two plates arrived after about 15 minutes. The other two took another 30 minutes. If you're in a hurry, go down and tell them early. One other thing, they won't clean the room or restock water, coffee or tea unless you hang the “please make up room” sign on the door.

The airport pick-up didn't go smoothly because our flight was late, and the pool looked like it had seen better days. Aside from that, we had a solid couple of nights. The staff were polite, breakfast was included, and the room had AC and warm water. They also organized several activities. I'd recommend it if you find a good price.

All the photos in the ads matched what we saw. The hotel is quiet but still near the market, Pub Street and plenty of local restaurants. Staff were kind and helpful, and could arrange things like transport and guides. The rooms have A/C, hot water and good Wi-Fi, plus there's a small pool to cool off in after a hot day of sightseeing.
