We really enjoyed our time at Sokha Siem Reap Resort and Convention Centre and were glad we chose it. The resort is huge, with lots of breakfast options, and it’s very close to Angkor Wat Temple. It is a little way from the city center, which suited us because it felt more peaceful. Everyone on staff was friendly and ready to help. Soriya at reception was especially helpful, going out of her way with several things, including calling a tuk tuk and helping us find the places we wanted to visit. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Tuk-tuks right outside made it easy to get into the city center quickly, and being close to Angkor Wat was a real plus even though the hotel isn’t in the center. There’s also a restaurant, bar, and very large swimming pool on site. The breakfast buffet had an outstanding range of choices. Our room was spacious, with a huge, very comfortable bed and excellent pillows. The staff were welcoming and kind. We had an excellent stay at Sokha Convention Center and highly recommend it.

This is a grand, top-notch resort close to ankor, with a short tuk, tuk ride to Ankor. It isn’t in the heart of the city, so it may not suit you if you’re here to boogie down and get drunk. For a mature stay or a family trip, it’s a great fit. There are lots of nearby dining options if you want to eat local.

The resort is about 5km from the city center, on the way to the airport. Tours usually offer pickup there, and a tuk tuk from the center costs only $3. The rooms are huge, the bathrooms are giant, and the food is great. It’s an amazing 5 star resort, so what’s not to like?!

A purpose-built convention center with attached hotel rooms, this is a great place that’s still recovering from COVID19. The rooms could use some minimal refurbishment, and most restaurants remain closed. There’s a salt water pool and plenty of dining options just a few minutes away by local tuk tuk. Service was great. After I left my money and passport in the room safe at checkout, honest staff returned them to me.
