The old-style house gave me the feeling of visiting an old friend's place, and the owner was polite and friendly. I stayed for two nights. The beds were comfortable, and the room had both AC and a fan. Prices were cheap, and there were food courts, coffee shops, and markets nearby. It’s also not far from Angkor Wat.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the place is good value. It’s within walking distance of the city centre and close to the river, so the location is very good. Breakfast is included, with fried eggs or an omelet, and you can rent a bicycle there. I have to say it wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve slept in Cambodia.

I wouldn’t stay here again. The place was fairly dirty, the breakfast was only okay and stopped at 9 am, and the air conditioning was mediocre. When I had questions for the owner, I felt like I was bothering him, though he usually did help. I paid to hire a tuk tuk driver for Angkor but wasn’t told that the price only covered the small loop. I was also charged the full room amount even though I’d already paid a deposit through HostelWorld.

Mr. Meng and his family were so warm and helpful that we felt at home and comfortable. The staff were friendly and courteous, and could arrange tours and transfers. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was great. It’s a charming guesthouse in a central location, near the old market, night market, and restaurants. It impressed me and went beyond what I expected. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great guesthouse in the centre of Siem Reap.
