The Cyclo Siem Reap Hotel

The pool area has been the highlight so far, with soft music, shade umbrellas, sunlounger service and a lovely waterfall flowing into the water. Staff have been fantastic too, always smiling, friendly and welcoming, with excellent service. We’re really enjoying how relaxing it is. We were picked up at the airport for free, with staff waiting where they said they’d be and holding a sign with our name. On arrival, we got a welcome drink and a cold towel, then were shown to a modern, clean room. Thanks from us in room 111 :)

The dining space and pool have a comfortable, pleasant atmosphere, and the free buffet breakfast was just the right size with no excess food. Pool towels and bathrobes in the rooms were nice touches. The location is very convenient, and the staff are genuinely great, polite and obliging. The furniture is a bit old, and there’s no lift. Otherwise, this cozy little hotel would get five stars from me.

The buffet had a great selection, though the staff could be quicker about refilling empty dishes. Our room was clean and very nice, and the staff were welcoming and supportive. They even helped us with the tourist police after we had an accident.

The rooms were nicely put together, air conditioned and a moderate size. The pool was beautiful and a great escape from the heat, and breakfast was very good and free. We also really enjoyed the lunches. The staff were incredible. After three weeks in Cambodia, this was our best hotel experience. It’s a five minute walk from the riverside. Thank you!
