The Embassy Angkor Resort & Spa

The spa was amazing, and the whole stay was great value for money. We had such a relaxing, luxurious time for a special occasion with my partner. The staff were incredibly kind and professional, and the food and service were great, quick, polite, and efficient without being intrusive. Best of all, it was SO QUIET, so we could sleep and recover 😌

We felt comfortable everywhere we went in Siem Reap, and didn’t notice any unrest or tension. It felt very safe to us. At the Embassy Hotel, the staff were what made the stay special. Everyone was kind, friendly, and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and doing their best to make things pleasant. The food had lots of tasty choices, and the cocktails were excellent. It was lovely to have breakfast, dinner, or a drink by the pool. We stayed six nights. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained, and everywhere felt calm, clean, and comfortable. The spacious, nicely decorated room gave us plenty of room, and we slept very well. The swimming pool was a great spot to relax after sightseeing. We highly recommend the Embassy Hotel and would stay again in Siem Reap.

Barang and Phea deserve a special mention. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, and their kindness and dedication reflect so well on the hotel. The staff treated us like family, which made our stay unforgettable. We spent New Year’s Eve here and couldn’t have chosen a better way to welcome 2026. The celebrations felt authentic and moving, and we loved how Cambodian traditions were presented. The food was divine, with every dish giving us a wonderful introduction to local flavors. We were comfortable and happy throughout our visit, and left feeling grateful. If you want to feel the heart of Cambodia, this is the place. Highly recommend!

The Embassy feels like a little oasis amid the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap. My only regret is booking just three days. It was my first visit, and I wanted to try different hotels, but I should have stayed longer. The room was majestic, wide and spacious, with a king bed and plenty of space. It made me not want to leave. The shower and bath were comfortable, with good pressure and a nice warm water temperature. Breakfast combines a buffet with made-to-order dishes, including a good range of local and Western food, so you can try something new or stick to familiar choices. The spa massage was top notch. For 60 USD, my wife had a 2.5-hour treatment that put her in the right mood. It’s a soothing, gentle-pressure massage, not the rough, heavy style typical of Thai massage. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The service staff were welcoming, always saying hello and checking whether we were enjoying the stay. They seemed to be looking for ways to help. I’d recommend this hotel for a relaxed, easy trip with good food and warm hospitality.
