Nita by Vo Luxury Hotel

The location was peaceful but still conveniently close to major attractions, and breakfast had great quality and variety. Nita By Vo Luxury Hotel blends modern luxury with warm Khmer hospitality. Our room was beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable after a day out exploring. The team clearly cares about the guest experience: everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, and handled every request professionally and with a smile. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap, and will definitely return.

Our room was amazing and the hotel is beautiful, but the whole staff made the difference. Mike, the manager, was the kindest person we’ve ever met. He helped with everything we needed and made things so easy, turning our short stay in Cambodia into an unforgettable one. Book it, you won’t regret staying here. We can’t wait to come back to Nita by Vo. Thank you, Mike and team!

Avoid this hotel. I checked in to find no hot water and barely a trickle from the shower. A few hours later, when I was leaving, the front reception staff, boys in dirty plastic slides, told me there was a plumbing problem. I wasn’t told about it as a guest. At least two other reviews have mentioned the plumbing and lack of hot water, which makes it seem like a recurring problem. The towels were dirty, had holes, and frayed edges. There was no bar, no two restaurants, and no friendly service, despite the advertised amenities. The hotel is not a resort or five stars. If negative ratings existed, I’d give it minus one. The photos and some previous reviews misrepresent the place. With no water to bathe and constant excuses for missing amenities, I left just hours after arriving and moved to a nearby hotel that exceeded my expectations for $15 more per night. If your standards for luxury and value are very low, this may suit you. Otherwise, several nearby hotels will meet or exceed your standards for the price. Booking here was my worst decision. Leaving for the other hotel was my best, and turned my vacation into a lifetime experience. I noticed the hotel replied to my review, but did not answer my two customer service emails from the previous day or my messages through the website. The failure to even try to fix the problem is clear from the lame, AI-generated response. This hotel should not be open for business.

When I brought the problems to the staff, they hung up or tried to outsource the solution. They may reply saying they care about service and standards and that staff are ready to resolve issues, but in my experience they didn’t care. There was no real rooftop bar, just some bottles, with no way to make a cocktail, no glasses, no ice, and no beer taps or bottles. There wasn’t actually a restaurant either. They offered a place down the street, but it was street food, not a real dining experience. I went downtown for dinner, and the hotel called and paid for a TukTuk there, but not the return trip. The so-called rainfall shower was a trickle with no hot water, and the tub would take months to fill at that flow. Nobody on staff told us about it. They may call it a minor technical issue and say they’re transparent, but that sounds like a line to save face. With no water to bathe and constant excuses about amenities they claimed to offer, I left within hours and moved to a better nearby hotel for only $15 more a night. If you have very low expectations for what counts as luxury and don’t care about value, this place may suit you. Otherwise, several nearby hotels can meet or exceed your standards and provide better value.
