The Oasis Harbor

The staff were accommodating and ready to help, and there’s a restaurant on site serving both Western and local food. Rooms are large and all poolside. It’s a quaint hotel with a tranquil atmosphere, and Pub St. is only a short tuk-tuk ride away, with restaurants, massage parlors, shops, and cafes. Be sure to try Fish Spa for a foot massage by fish!

The shower was the one minor drawback in my room. The hot water kept cutting out. Whenever I told the staff, they responded quickly and it would get better, but then the problem came back. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. I stayed solo at The Oasis Harbor in Siem Reap for two weeks and found it peaceful and relaxing. The front desk team and other staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I felt at home from day one. Breakfast was included and a real highlight. With the heat and humidity outside, having a good meal each morning made a big difference. I didn’t use the pool, but it always looked clean and well kept, and plenty of other guests were enjoying it. I’d absolutely recommend this friendly place as a relaxing base in Siem Reap, whether traveling solo or otherwise.

Breakfast was the one letdown. I tried the more international options as a break from local food, but they disappointed me, and I had to go elsewhere to eat afterward. I’d return to the hotel, but skip breakfast. The rest was excellent. It’s a small, relaxing place with a good design. Wi-Fi was solid for work, the check-in staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was delicious. I tried several menu items over my stay and they were all very good. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a good desk for working. The bathroom had decent space, a bath, and a separate shower. Laundry service was efficient.

The hotel is really cute, clean, and has great facilities. We loved our stay, and the staff were very friendly. The room prices are very cheap, so it’s great value for money. I highly recommend it and we’ll definitely come back.
