It’s a nice place for a couple wanting a quiet stay, and the center is close enough to walk to. The big room is on a small, peaceful street. Communication with the owner was a little difficult because she doesn’t speak English, but she brought us hot water and coffee each morning. If partying in Siem Reap is what you want, somewhere like Mad Monkey may suit you better.

The landlady is friendly, and the rooms are well equipped for two people. Still, it’s very hard to find, and the children next door are so noisy that sleeping in isn’t an option. The advertised free Wi-Fi felt like a rip-off. In my view, charging $5 for a 128 MB SIM card is clearly an attempted fraud. Be careful with this address. I’d buy a smartcard beforehand from the shop right beside the movie theater at the roundabout. For $5 you get 4 GB, and you’re set.

The room was clean and the Wi-Fi signal was good. The location is excellent, with the night market just a short walk away. Tonle Sap Lake is nearby too, and there are shops, travel agencies, and motorcycle rentals close to the alley entrance.
