East Holiday Hotel

The room wasn’t clean, and the tool in it had problems.

There’s nothing special about this hotel. It’s old and falling apart.

The room itself was old and very dirty, nothing like the photos, and there was no balcony. We’d booked a balcony room through Agoda, but the receptionist didn’t speak English and simply gave us a dark room at the back. When we tried to explain that it was the wrong room, she showed us another one with a balcony. The walls in the rooms were dirty, and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned well either. On our second visit to Sihanoukville, we stayed somewhere else for the same price and it was much better. I’d never stay here again.

It’s noisy, with a skybar nearby and something like a highway right in front. In Sihanoukville I wouldn’t pay more than $15. I had a lot of trouble changing my réservation, but they eventually helped, so that earns one star. WiFi and mobile data barely worked in some rooms. It could be worth a $12 deal if you don’t need internet. I hope they fix the connection. Thanks.
