The crew were so welcoming and friendly, and I really enjoyed the soup noodles and coffee ☕. This was a unique, warm place to stay in Phnom Penh, with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and it was a great place to relax after exploring the city. I left with sweet memories.

The fish and chips were enjoyable and reasonably priced, and I was glad the morning graveyard shift staff let me have coffee from the included breakfast buffet at 5:25am, before buffet service officially starts at 6:30. That kindness is why I happily gave one star. But the lobby restaurant photos show food that doesn't match what is actually served, and the same local Angkor beer costs US$3.50 at the hotel versus $1.50 across the street. I started with a four star rating, but the lack of empowerment hotel management gives staff is why I landed on two stars.

The only drawbacks were a freezing indoor pool and a steam bath I couldn't get to work, probably because I didn't know how to use it. Otherwise, the stay was well worth the time and money. The location was good, the front staff lovely and friendly, and breakfast was good every day. We chose a large three bedder room, with a spacious, beautiful bathroom, and everything felt new. The sauna helped after long days, and so did the in-house massage.

I felt really comfortable here because the staff treated us so kindly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The rooms were spacious and clean. Well done, Mr Sita and Cindy. I'd definitely recommend Anik Boutique Hotel.
