The rooms and facilities were clean and good for the price, and I stayed with a group of relatives who booked 9 rooms. But the casino on the ground floor made the place feel uncomfortable for local guests, and the hotel itself didn’t really suit my vibe. They put us on 3 different floors. I asked if my room card could be set to access just those 3 floors, but they said that wasn’t possible. Their answer was to go down to the ground floor lobby whenever I needed to visit family on another floor and ask staff to help. It was so ridiculous, and it spoiled the stay for me. Other standard hotels can arrange this.

The pool is really good and goes down to 1.6m, though there’s no lifeguard. I had an easy check-in, and the casino staff were friendly, but the counter staff weren’t. My room had no safe, and it was noisy in the morning. I think the sound came from someone upstairs, since the floor is wood. The restaurant and shopping options felt dull. They seemed aimed more at China Chinese visitors, but the choices were low end.

Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly. The beach and pool were nice to have, too. But the fridge in our room didn’t work, and neither did the bathroom lights. The gym costs 30 dollars a day, and some of the second floor looked abandoned, which was odd. It was an OK stay.

My family was stuck in the elevator for more than 30 minutes. It stopped with an error and dropped hard, and there were no technical operators to help. The staff couldn’t do anything until the electricity came back. Everything looks new, but that elevator was awful. The staff were also helpless when we needed assistance, and I felt they showed no commitment to providing a good standard of service. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I’d never recommend it and won’t stay here again. Rate -0/10.
