Mangrove River Resort

I had a great time and hope other guests enjoy it too. The place is close to the beach, and I really liked the scenery, with plants, flowers, a river and a yacht, even if it doesn't feel very beachy. The rooms are nice, with a big bed, sofa and TV, and there's a good swimming pool for kids too. Staff were friendly, though there were fewer of them than I expected while I was there. There was no chef, so no room service. I wished they'd had some q-tips, since all that swimming really calls for them XD.

It's close to the beach and has a river view, so it can be a good option if you don't expect much service. The room was basically clean, though they could have paid closer attention. Service was decent. Maybe it was because it wasn't a holiday, but there was only one person at reception and the restaurant wasn't open.

I've never had a hotel stay this bad. There was no water for a shower, and the air conditioner was hot, but I was told to just use it. Staff were unfriendly and ignored me when I asked for things. They took the key away and wouldn't return it. Employees cursed at each other and then acted like they were laughing. Think carefully before booking.

The staff were kind and professional, and I'd definitely come back. It's ideal for couples looking for a peaceful stay. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the beach at Others beach 2, where there are plenty of beach restaurants. Rooms are spacious at 30m2, including a beautiful bathroom, and the swimming pool is perfect. You can also use a kayak for free and take it on the river. Construction is happening at the hotel and all around Otres beach, but it didn't bother us and we never heard disruptive noise. Breakfast isn't available at the hotel for now, but they arranged an easy transfer to another hotel 4 minutes away.
